About Starlight:

Starlight Online Dance Competition Est. 2020, is a worldwide virtual competition designed to allow dancers from around the world the opportunity to compete from the comfort of their own home/dance studio. With all dance genres, vocal and acting categories, we provide a platform for dancers of all ages and skill levels to shine, receive feedback, and win incredible awards. Holding 6 online competitions per year, including two Championships all with Live Award Shows! Our mission is to celebrate artistry, encourage growth, and build a strong, supportive dance community around the world, allowing everyone the chance to dance and compete!​

 

Inclusive: Open to soloists, duets, trios, and groups in all dance genres, vocal and acting. 5 Age groups, Novice and Elite sections. Title Competition. Plus a Photogenic Contest and Improv Challenge!

Accessible & Fully Online: Dancers submit video entries from anywhere in the world, making participation flexible and barrier-free. Includes a Live Streamed Award Show for every event

High Quality Awards: Participants receive feedback from experienced judges with score sheets and e-certificates. All participants receive a score ribbon just for participating and having the courage to dance. Awards to be won include placement medals, trophies, sashes, charms, crowns, banners, special awards, overall awards and more!

New this Season: all participants will be eligible to win Scholarships!

 

Championship Finals Competition held twice a year! Dancers must qualify to participate.

Global Reach: We’ve welcomed participants from over 40 countries and reached an online participation of 35,000 over the past 5 years.
